If your son is turning 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 or 12, there’s a good chance you already know exactly what he wants for his birthday: Fortnite, FIFA and his friends.
The problem is finding a way to turn that into a birthday party without having ten excited boys running around your house for two hours!
That’s where a gaming bus can make life considerably easier.
Fortnite or FIFA – which will they choose?
The good news is that you don’t necessarily have to choose.
Fortnite is brilliant for getting everyone involved, especially when the boys can team up and work together. FIFA (or EA SPORTS FC) is ideal for a bit of friendly competition, with quick matches and plenty of opportunities for bragging rights.
For a mixed group, it can work really well to let the birthday boy choose the games on the day.
Keep the party simple
One of the biggest advantages of a mobile gaming party is that the entertainment is already organised.
The van arrives at your home or chosen venue, the children climb aboard and the gaming starts. There’s no need to organise party games, keep everyone entertained or worry about what happens if it rains.
That can be particularly useful for South Wales birthdays, where the weather doesn’t always stick to the plan!
Gaming Squad has been running gaming parties across South Wales for years, and the most successful parties tend to be the ones where parents keep things simple: a few snacks, a birthday cake and plenty of gaming.
A party they’ll actually remember
For boys who genuinely love Fortnite and football games, a gaming bus feels different from a traditional birthday party.
They get to play the games they already love, but with their friends, all together in one place.
And for parents? Less organising, less mess and hopefully a couple of hours to put your feet up.
That sounds like a pretty good birthday present for everyone.
